Isostatic presses, including both HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) and CIP (Cold Isostatic Pressing), are devices used in materials processing technology. They utilize the principle of isostatic pressure, which means that the compressive force acts uniformly in all directions on the material being processed. Both technologies are widely used in the metallurgical, ceramic, and energy industries, as well as in the production of high-quality components.

How does CIP work?

The powder or starting material is placed in a flexible container (e.g., made of rubber or latex).

The container is placed in a chamber filled with hydraulic fluid (e.g., water or oil).

03.

Hydrostatic pressure acts uniformly on the container, compacting the material inside.

04.

Once the process is complete, the material takes the form of a semi-finished product, which is then further processed.
