Braz-Tec® Brazing
Braz-Tec® Vacuum Brazing
Braz-Tec Soldering
Vacuum brazing using Braz-Tec technology is an advanced process for joining metals and alloys in a controlled vacuum atmosphere. This method is used in applications that require high-quality joints with excellent leak tightness, strength, and corrosion resistance.
What is vacuum brazing?
Vacuum brazing is a process in which two or more metal components are joined using a brazing filler metal (typically based on metals such as silver, copper, nickel, or aluminum) under high-vacuum conditions. This process does not require the use of flux, which eliminates the risk of contaminating the joints.

How does Braz-Tec work?
Preparing the components
The parts to be joined are cleaned mechanically or chemically to remove contaminants and oxidation. The contact surfaces are coated with the appropriate solder.
The Soldering Process
The components are placed in an AMP vacuum furnace.A high-purity vacuum is created, eliminating oxygen and other gases that could cause metals to oxidize. The furnace is gradually heated until the melting point of the binder is reached, at which point it melts and forms a permanent bond.
Cooling
After soldering is complete, the furnace temperature is gradually lowered to prevent thermal stress.
Advantages of Braz-Tec Vacuum Brazing
High-purity connection
The absence of fluxes eliminates chemical residues that could affect the properties of the joint.
Precision
The process allows for joints with a controlled weld width and high leak tightness.
Corrosion resistance
Vacuum brazing eliminates the risk of oxidation at the joints.
Strength
These joints are characterized by high mechanical and thermal strength.
Versatility
Capability to solder various materials, including stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys, aluminum, and ceramics.
