Braz-Tec® soldering
Braz-Tec® vacuum brazing
Braz-Tec Soldering
Braz-Tec vacuum brazing is an advanced process for joining metals and alloys in a controlled vacuum atmosphere. It is a method used where high-quality joints with excellent tightness, strength and corrosion resistance are required.
What is vacuum brazing?
Vacuum brazing is a process in which two or more metal components are joined using a solder binder (usually metal-based, such as silver, copper, nickel or aluminum) under high vacuum conditions. The process does not require fluxes, eliminating the risk of contamination of the joints.

How does Braz-Tec work?
Preparation of elements
The components to be joined are cleaned mechanically or chemically to remove impurities and oxidation. Contact surfaces are coated with a suitable solder.
Soldering process
The components are placed in an AMP vacuum furnace. A high-purity vacuum is generated, eliminating oxygen and other gases that could cause oxidation of metals. The furnace is gradually heated until the melting point of the binder is reached, which melts and forms a permanent bond.
Cooling
After soldering is completed, the temperature of the furnace is lowered controllably to avoid thermal stress.
Advantages of Braz-Tec vacuum brazing
High purity of connection
The absence of fluxes eliminates chemical residues that could affect the properties of the joint.
Precision
The process produces joints with controlled weld width and high tightness.
Corrosion resistance
Soldering in a vacuum eliminates the risk of oxidation of connections.
Strength
The connections are characterized by high mechanical and thermal strength.
Versatility
Ability to solder a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys, aluminum and ceramics.
