Cleaning is essential for proper surface preparation prior to manufacturing processes and for the subsequent quality and durability of protective coatings. Intermediate operations cause contaminants to accumulate on the surfaces of workpieces.
Contaminants resulting from mechanical machining (milling, turning, grinding) are relatively easy to remove—their removal depends on the viscosity of the oils and lubricants used to cool the workpieces.
Much more difficult to remove are burrs and various types of scale resulting from heat treatment.
In our cleaning process, we use safe, non-flammable solvents that are harmless to people and the environment.
